2025 Abuse-Free Sport Research Symposium

In the winter of 2025, the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada and Anti-Racism in Sport Campaign will co-host the Abuse-Free Sport Research Symposium (“Symposium”), a two-day event, to celebrate research initiatives funded through the Abuse-Free Sport Research Grant Program since its creation in 2022. 

Date and Time: February 24 @ 8:00am - February 25 @ 3:00pm

Location: Canadian Museum for Human Rights, Winnipeg, MB

Cost: 

• Student rate - $50.00
• Early bird fee (before January 15, 2025) - $75.00
• Regular rate (from January 16 to February 14, 2025) - $125.00
• Canadian Museum for Human Rights Guided Tour - $15.00

Accommodations

A limited number of rooms have been reserved at the Inn at the Forks hotel at a special event rate of $202/night plus taxes and fees. Individuals wishing to book accommodations at the group rate are required to contact the Hotel directly, on or before Friday, January 24, 2025 and identify themselves as attendees of the Group, specifying the Group Name Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada, Group Reservation #669138 and the event dates of February 22-25, 2025.

Should guests wish to extend their stay, they must email the Hotel’s Front Desk at info@innforks.com in order to have the group rate applied. Extended reservations cannot be made online.
