- Commit to Kids for Coaches: Foundational Information for Safeguarding Children from Sexual Abuse
Designed for adults who work with children, this 23 minute video is intended to support protective adults by increasing their understanding of the issue of child sexual abuse, the disclosure of sexual abuse and supporting children through a disclosure. Coaches will receive one professional development point toward maintenance of certification as part of the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). - Commit to Kids for Coaches eLearning module
This online training empowers coaches and sport leaders with practical information to help them enhance child and youth safety in sport. This activity book teaches youth in Grades 7 and 8 about healthy relationships and boundaries. Through various engaging activities, youth will be able to identify the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships, how to set personal boundaries, and how to get out of uncomfortable situations when those boundaries have been broken.
